Landlocked in South Africa with a short border to Mozambique, Swaziland is one of the smallest countries on the continent with no more than 200 kilometres north to south and 130 kilometres east to west as its boundaries. Swaziland is mountainous and hilly with some sloping plains and is home to one of Africa’s remaining monarchies. 

Swaziland’s largest protected area is Hlane Royal National Park at about 50,000 hectares. The park is great for game viewing due to its extensive network of roads and abundance of waterholes.
